The Residential Programme for the 2025/2026 academic session of the Distance Learning Institute, University of Lagos (DLI, UNILAG) will hold as follows:
1.0 Arrival of DLI Students for Residential Programme
A. The 2025/2026 DLI Residential Programme will commence on Monday, August 31, 2026, and end on Saturday, September 26, 2026.
B. All DLI Students are expected to complete their course registration for the 2025/2026 session on or before Saturday, July 29, 2026.
C. At the completion of the course registration, the Hostel Application Button will be enabled for allocation of hostel bed space.
D. Upon resumption, students are expected to report at the hostel with the print-out of the accommodation slip. Each student should report in his/her allocated Hall of Residence with the following documents:
i. Receipt of payment of full-service charge for the current session,
ii. Two copies of Online printed Accommodation slip, and
iii. Evidence of registration with the University Medical Centre.

3.0 Other Examination Requirements
A. Students are to complete payment of fees on or before Friday, July 31, 2026.
B. Registration for courses for all students ends on Friday, August 8, 2026. There shall be no further extension.
C. Students are required to come to the examination center with one recent passport photograph for each of the registered course. The passport photograph must be the same used to register for the current session.
D. Examination docket would be enabled for printing as from Saturday, August 1, 2026.
4.0 Important Information
Note that ONLY students of the Institute who are fully registered will be allowed to write examination.
5.0 Special Plea to Employers
The Distance Learning Institute (DLI) Management appeals to employers to kindly release their respective employees who are DLI students. This is to enable them participate in the residential programme, during which the 2025/2026 sessional examination will be conducted.
