The Nigerian Academy of Science (NAS), Nigeria’s foremost independent scientific body, is calling for abstracts for its 8th NAS Annual Scientific Conference.
The conference has the theme: “Harnessing Artificial Intelligence for Scientific Innovation, Sustainable Development and Technological Transformation in Nigeria” and the following subthemes:
• AI for Smart Systems and Industrial Innovation
• AI for Scientific Discovery and Advancement
• AI for Biomedical Innovations
• AI for Agriculture and Environment
• AI Governance and Capacity Development
Scheduled to hold from Tuesday, March 2 to Wednesday, March 3, 2027 in Abuja, the conference will bring together relevant stakeholders, policymakers, researchers, and members of the general public, to showcase AI-driven scientific research and innovations addressing national challenges, as well as foster knowledge exchange and collaboration.
