It has been observed that one of the reasons for the delay in the payment of pension of retired officers is the late release of their accrued rights under the old Defined Benefit Scheme (DBS).
To enable the government plan towards early release of the accrued rights, there is a need to gather the data of the officers who are entitled to these rights.
To this end, the Office of Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Finance and other stakeholders is compiling the data of all serving Federal officers who were employed on or before June 30, 2004. The concerned members of staff are requested to fill the google form via this link: https://tinyurl.com/24zncu5t
Please note:
- Deadline for submission of the form is 12.00 midnight on Friday, July 5, 2024.
- Filling the online form is mandatory for all concerned members of staff. This will enable payment of accrued pension rights under the old Defined Benefit Pension Scheme upon retirement.
All those who fill the forms are to send their names and details to the Office of the Registrar.
