The KB Klub, College of Medicine, University of Lagos (CMUL), is set to host a historic Blood Drive on Friday, August 15, 2025, as part of an ambitious attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the most blood donations collected in a single day.
The club aims to gather over 3,000 pints of blood in partnership with the Lagos State Blood Transfusion Service (LSBTS).
This lifesaving initiative will take place at seven (7) different locations in in Lagos simultaneously: including the
- Lagos Mainland LGA: Indoor Sports Hall, University of Lagos Sports Center, Main Campus, Akoka.
- Eti- Osa LGA: Monarch Event Centre and Oba Elegushi’s Palace.
- Ikeja LGA: Jara Mall
- Ikorodu LGA: The Ayangburen’s Palace
- Lagos Island LGA : Marina Car Park
- Ojo LGA: Students Union Arcade, LASU
- Surulere LGA: Teslim Balogun Stadium
