The University of Lagos (UNILAG) will host the GLocalWater Learning Exchange session, an academic and knowledge-sharing event focused on water security and participatory data interpretation in Nigeria, on Friday, January 30, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the Training Room, ACEDHARS Building, UNILAG, Akoka.
The session is being held under the research project titled “Localising Global Data through Participatory Interpretation: A Water Security Case Study in Nigeria (GLocalWater Project)”, jointly led by Dr. Feng Mao of the University of Warwick, United Kingdom and a Senior Lecturer and Environmental Toxicologist at UNILAG, Dr. Temitope Sogbamu.
The Learning Exchange session will be facilitated by Dr. Temitope Sogbamu, and is designed to foster cross-institutional dialogue on how global data can be meaningfully interpreted and applied within local contexts to address water security challenges.
