2026 Int’l Conference & 35th Annual General Meeting of the Nigerian Meteorological Society Begins, March 30

The Nigerian Meteorological Society (NMS) in conjunction with the Department of Geography, University of Lagos (UNILAG) will hold its 2026 International Conference and 35th Annual General Meeting as follows:

  • Date: Monday, March 30 to Wednesday, April 1, 2026
  • Time: 10:00 a.m.
  • Venue: UNILAG Guest House and Conference Centre, UNILAG, Akoka

The event will feature keynote presentations and intellectual discourse on the theme: Advancing Meteorology: Harnessing AI, Satellites and Big Data for Climate Resilience and Sustainability .

The Nigerian Meteorological Society (NMS) is made up of multi-disciplinary and inter-disciplinary experts committed to meteorological and climate research in Nigeria.
