The AFRETEC Network, University of Lagos (AFRETEC-UNILAG), invites the submission of abstracts for its 2026 Water Access Conference, themed: “Strengthening Water Access and Quality in Africa.”
Abstract submissions are invited on topics related to:
- Water access beyond physical infrastructure, including technology, governance, public health, industry, and community participation;
- Innovative approaches to improving water access and water quality;
- The role of science, technology, and innovation in advancing water security;
- Policy, governance, industry, and community-driven strategies for sustainable water solutions; and
- Emerging research and best practices that contribute to equitable and resilient water systems across the continent.

AFRETEC UNILAG Water Access Conference 2026 will bring together researchers, industry leaders, innovators, development practitioners, policymakers, and community stakeholders to explore sustainable solutions to water access and water quality challenges across Africa.
