Interdisciplinary Journal of Lifelong Learning (IJLL): Call for Papers

The Editorial Board of the Interdisciplinary Journal of Lifelong Learning (IJLL) is pleased to announce the call for article submissions for Volume 2, Issue 2.

IJLL is an open access, double blinded, peer-reviewed, and interdisciplinary journal dedicated to advancing knowledge and research in lifelong, open, distance and inclusive education. It is published in both print and digital formats, offering various pathways to make research accessible and affordable.

The Journal, therefore, welcomes articles, case studies, thought-provoking analyses, issues, views, ideas and research findings.

Submission Guidelines

  • Articles submitted must be original, of good quality and must not be under consideration for publication in another journal nor previously published elsewhere.
  • The manuscript must be written in English with MS Word, single line spacing, and font style Time New Roman (12 font size).
  • The front page must include the title page which contains the author(s) name(s), institutional affiliations, current address(es), including telephone numbers and e-mail.
  • The abstract must not be more than 250 words with five (5) keywords and the length of the article should not exceed 15pages or minimum of 5000 words (including references) both in-text citations and references should conform to the 7th edition APA reference style.
  • The article must contain: Abstract, Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Results, and Discussion, Conclusion and References.
  • Charts, diagrams, figures, pictures, and tables must be numbered serially with a title above (for tables) and below (for charts, diagrams, figures and pictures).
  • All articles would be subjected to plagiarism check and only articles with similarity index of not more than 20% and author (s) should declare where AI is used in the article.
  • Articles for consideration must be submitted not later than Saturday, September 19, 2026.

Please note that the final decision regarding acceptance and rejection of submitted articles would be based on reviewers’ comments and the Journal’s Editorial Board.
