The stunning performance of Naomi Nnamdi Chinyere secured the first gold medal for Team UNILAG in the ongoing #NUGAUNILAG2022 games. Dr. Temilola Oluseyi of the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science has jointly won a Royal Society research grant with Dr. Heather Coleman of the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Ulster, UK for their project on: “Low-cost alternative water treatment for the removal of pharmaceuticals in domestic wastewater in Lagos, Nigeria”.
