Dept of Metallurgical & Materials Engineering holds Seminar, July 17

The Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, University of Lagos (UNILAG) in collaboration with Interdisciplinary Research Centre for Advanced Materials, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Saudi Arabia will hold a Seminar on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the Rahaman Bello Lecture Hall, UNILAG.

The Seminar will feature a presentation titled: A Novel Approach to the Development of Light Weight Metal Matrix Composite for Structural Application to be delivered by Dr. Nasirudeen Ogunlakin. The presentation will focus on metal matrix composite, powder metallurgy technique, spark plasma sintering, materials characterization, microstructural analysis, mechanical testing and fractography.

Members of the university community and the general public are cordially invited.
