DISTINGUISHED PROFESSOR IGWILLO (RTD.) BAGS DOUBLE HONOURS IN HEALTH SCIENCES

Retired Distinguished Professor Cecilia Ihuoma Igwilo (OON) of the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Lagos, has been doubly honoured in the field of Health Scienes in Nigeria.

The former Dean of Pharmacy was elected in September 2024 as the 1st Vice-President of the Nigeria Academy of Pharmacy.

On Saturday, October 26, 2024, she was appointed a Foundation Fellow by the Academy of Medicine Specialties of Nigeria.

The immediate past President of the West African Postgraduate College of Pharmacists has been a pride to the University of Lagos with her numerous strides in the field of Pharmacy in particular and in the Health Sciences in general.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Folasade Ogunsola, OON, FAS congratulates Distinguished Professor Igwilo (Rtd.) and wishes her continued success.
