The University of Lagos is set to host the Young Leaders for Arts and Health (YLAH) Lagos Summit 2025 on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Faculty of Creative Arts Theatre, Akoka Campus.
With the theme, “Reimagining Health: Creativity, Community & the Future of Youth Wellbeing,” the summit is a global youth-led initiative co-produced by the Global Arts in Medicine Fellowship (GAIMF), the Commonwealth Leadership Institute (UK), the Faculty of Creative Arts, UNILAG, and Uwevwi Studios.
Expected to convene over 300 participants from the cultural, academic, health, and development sectors, the event will feature a dynamic lineup of activities, including keynote addresses, interdisciplinary panel discussions, spoken word and musical performances, a wellness lounge, live art, and a fireside chat between the Vice Chancellor, Professor Folasdae T. Ogunsola, OON, FAS and a youth delegate.
