DESCRIPTION:The University of Lagos (UNILAG) Students’ Union (ULSU) in collaboration with UNILAG Debate Society (ULDS) and Junior Chamber International (JCI)\, is set to hold the 2026 UNILAG Inter-Faculty Debate\, Spelling Bee\, and Public Speaking Competition as follows: \nDay 1: Wednesday\, 24 June 2026 \nEvent: Public Speaking & Spelling Bee Competition\nTime: 10:00a.m.\nVenue: LT026\, Science Complex\, UNILAG \n Day 2: Friday\, 26 June 2026 \nEvent: Preliminary Debate Rounds\nTime: 8:00a.m.\nVenue: Faculty of Arts\, Law & MSA Complex\, UNILAG \nDay 3: Saturday\, 27 June 2026 \nEvent: Semi-Finals and Grand Finale (Debate Competition)\nTime: 9:00a.m.\nVenue: Tayo Aderinokun Lecture Theatre\, UNILAG \nThis flagship academic engagement is designed to promote intellectual excellence\, critical thinking\, communication skills\, and leadership development among students across all faculties of the university. It will provide a structured platform for students to engage in structured debate\, public speaking\, and spelling proficiency challenges\, thereby strengthening academic expression and competitive scholarship within the university community. \nMembers of the university community are cordially invited to attend and support this celebration of intellect\, creativity\, and leadership.
