The Institute of African and Diaspora Studies (IADS) at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) is set to forge a strategic collaboration with the Architecture Heritage and Urbanism of West Africa (AHUWA) Research Centre at the University of Liverpool.
This partnership is part of the prestigious Leverhulme International Professorship grant awarded to Professor Taibat Lawanson, a Professor of Urban Management and Governance at the Faculty of Environmental Sciences, University of Lagos.
The collaboration will support the development of a Master’s programme in Global Urbanism and Heritage, aimed at fostering academic exchange and research between the two institutions.
As part of the initiative, a state-of-the-art media centre will be established to facilitate online teaching activities, ensuring seamless access to course materials and interactive learning experiences for students.
