The International School, University of Lagos (ISL) was founded on November 9, 1981, with the responsibility of providing First Class Secondary School Education of International standard that is second to none in Nigeria. In 1985, the school was inspected and granted recognition and approval to present students for WASSCE by WAEC and the Federal Ministry of Education.

  • REQUIREMENTS FOR TEACHING POSITIONS: ASSISTANT TUTOR & TUTOR 1

Applicants must possess a minimum of first degree in relevant disciplines as follows:

  1. B.Ed, B.Sc (Ed) Or B.A. (Ed) from a recognized University.
  2. B.A. Or B.Sc from a recognized University with a P.G.D.E.
  3. Possession of Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) Certificate/License is compulsory.
  • NYSC discharge certificate or evidence of exemption is required.
  • SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE ‘O/L’ credits in five (5) subjects) including English and Mathematics is compulsory. (Not more than two sittings).
  • Teaching experience in secondary school is generally an advantage, however Tutor 1 must have at least 6 years of teaching experience in a secondary school.

  • Senior Administrative Officer
  • B.Sc./B.A. in Humanities, Social Science or Management Sciences from a recognized University
  • NYSC discharge certificate or evidence of exemption is required.
  • 6 years Administrative and post-graduation experience is required.
  • Membership of relevant professional bodies like CIPM will be an advantage.
  • WASSCE or NECO SSCE, five (5) credit in five (5) subjects) including English Language and Mathematics is compulsory (not more than two sittings).
  • School Nurse
  • Registered Nurse (RN) or B.Sc. Nursing Degree from a recognized institution
  • NYSC discharge certificate or evidence of exemption is required.
  • WASSCE or NECO SSCE, five(5) credit in five (5) subjects) including English Language and Mathematics is compulsory (not more than two sittings).
  • Technologist II (Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Computer Studies)
  • B.Sc./HND Science Laboratory Technology from a recognized institution.
  • NYSC discharge certificate or evidence of exemption is required.
  • (NISLT) with current practicing license.
  • WASSCE or NECO SSCE, five(5) credit in five (5) subjects) including English Language and Mathematics is compulsory (not more than two sittings).
  • Higher Executive Officer (Store)
  • HND in Purchasing and Supply or any discipline in Management Sciences from a recognized institution.
  • Membership of Nigeria Institute of Purchasing and Supply is an advantage.
  • NYSC discharge certificate or evidence of exemption is required.
  • WASSCE or NECO SSCE, five (5) credit in five (5) subjects) including English Language and Mathematics is compulsory (not more than two sittings).
  • Higher Library Officer
  • B.Sc. Or BLIS in Library Information System
  • NYSC discharge certificate or evidence of exemption is required.
  • WASSCE or NECO SSCE, five (5) credit in five (5) subjects) including English Language and Mathematics is compulsory (not more than two sittings).

  • Executive Officer (Admin.)
  • OND in any of the Management Sciences

  • REQUIREMENTS FOR INTERNAL ADVERTISEMENT: ASSISTANT CHIEF TUTOR & DEPUTY CHIEF TUTOR

Applicants must possess a minimum of first degree in relevant disciplines as follows:

  1. B.Ed, B.Sc (Ed) Or B.A. (Ed) from a recognized University.
  2. B.A. Or B.Sc from a recognized University with a P.G.D.E.
