On Wednesday, November 16, 2022, Acting Director of the UNILAG Medical Centre, Dr. O. Coker, and heads of the various units at the Medical Centre, including Dr. Charles Ibesiok, Mrs. Adejoke Hannah, Mr. Makolo Temitayo, Pharmacist Dorcas; Mr. Shina Quadri, Mrs. Olajumo Oluwakemi, Mr. Razak, Mr. Ebun Oluranti and others, paid a courtesy visit to the new Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Folasade Ogunsola, FAS, to congratulate her on her assumption of office.
Similarly, members of the Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC) Board, led by its Chairman, Prof. Wakeel Isola paid a visit to the Vice-Chancellor. The Team comprised Prof. Adeosun, Mr. Olawale Olasunmade, Mrs. R. Oyenuga and Mrs. Alice Faremi.
The two parties presented beautiful cards to the new Vice-Chancellor and posed for group photographs.
Two delegates from the Institute of African and Diaspora Studies (IADS), Bolatito Kolawole (Junior Research Fellow) and Iwalewa Olorunyemi (Intern) paid a surprise visit to the Vice-Chancellor and presented a lovely painting to her amidst hugs and pleasantries.
They all wished her a fruitful tenure in office. The ecstatic Vice-Chancellor expressed heartfelt gratitude to the various offices and assured them of her unwavering support for their efforts.
