Team GUARDIAN, Nigeria’s shining pride, stands tall on the global stage and they need EVERY NIGERIAN to secure a historic victory for our dear nation!
Five brilliant (5) University of Lagos undergraduates – Joy Okoi, Emmanuel Awolowo, Orobosa Isokpunwu, Bright Chan, and Shallom Adebayo from the Faculties of Engineering and Science, are representing YOU at the prestigious RICE360 Global Health Technologies Design Competition in Houston, Texas, USA.
Their game-changing innovation? The AM Detector, a portable, non-invasive device that detects amniotic fluid (water-like substance that surrounds and protects a fetus during pregnancy) leakage, saving lives with a proudly Nigerian-made solution.
From countless global competitors, Team Guardian has fought their way to the Semi-Finals as Nigeria’s only hope.
Now, with over 10,000 votes, they’re in 3rd place but we can make them NUMBER ONE!!
The voting deadline is Friday, April 11, 2025. This isn’t just a win for UNILAG but a triumph for Nigeria, a testament to our resilience, ingenuity, and spirit.
Let’s unite as one nation and show the world what we’re made of.
