The Department of Physics, University of Lagos (UNILAG) will hold the June edition of its monthly seminar series on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Physics LAB 308, Faculty of Science, UNILAG.
The Seminar will feature a presentation on: Investigation of the Effect of Specific Gravity and pH on the Fermentation Period of a Single and Combined Algae Species as a Potential Biofuel Feedstock by Dr Humphrey Ibifubara, a Solar Energy Physicist with a special focus on Bioenergy.
Dr Humphrey Ibifubara is an academic staff of the Department of Physics, UNILAG. He obtained a B.Tech. (Hon) Degree in Physics Electronics from the Federal University of Technology, Akure in 2008; M.Sc. and PhD in Solar Energy Physics from the University of Lagos in 2012 and 2018. Over the years, he has collaborated with researchers from Botany, Marine Biology, Chemistry, and Chemical Engineering Departments and other universities, which have resulted in several publications in peer-reviewed national and international journals.
