The immediate-past University of Lagos (UNILAG) Librarian, Prof. Yetunde Zaid has been appointed as Chairman of the University’s Ceremonies Committee. Her appointment is with effect from Thursday, April 2, 2026 to Sunday, January 31, 2027.
Prof. Zaid is a distinguished academic with a strong record of service and leadership within the University. She is widely recognised for her exceptional coordination of events and ceremonies, having successfully led and delivered several notable University programmes, including UNILAG in Town and UNILAG Detty December. Her appointment reflects the institution’s confidence in her ability to provide effective oversight and uphold the standards and traditions of the University’s academic and ceremonial functions.
