The Staff Training and Development Unit, University of Lagos (ST&DU, UNILAG) is set to hold a Pre-Retirement Training Programme for non-teaching members of staff scheduled to retire between June 2026 and January 2028 as indicated below:
Theme: Retirement Reimagined: Thriving Beyond Service
Date: Tuesday, May 19 – Wednesday, May 20, 2026. Time: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm daily
Venue: Training Room, Staff Training & Development Unit, UNILAG
The training is designed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and mindset needed to navigate this transition confidently and build a productive, financially stable, and fulfilling post-service life. Topics will cover financial planning, health and wellness, post-retirement opportunities, and administrative processes for retirement benefits.
