The African Engineering and Technology (AFRETEC) Network at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) invites applications for Doctoral Academy 2.0 which is scheduled for Saturday, June 6 to Saturday, June 13, 2026.
With the theme: “Doctoral Research as a Catalyst for Community Impact“, Doctoral Academy 2.0 aims to equip researchers with the capacity to translate their work into meaningful impact for communities across Africa.
The fully-funded intensive programme provides participants with opportunities to:
Strengthen research design and methodology to produce actionable insights.
Develop strategies for publication, grant funding, and international collaboration.
Enhance supervisory and mentorship skills for guiding impactful research.
Connect with peers and mentors across disciplines and institutions.
