The programme facilitators are resource persons from Centre for International Private Entreprise (CIPE) including Grace Nzou (from Kenya) as well as Steven Rosenlund and Carmen Stanila (from the United States of America).

According to the Director of HRDC-UNILAG, Dr. Lateef Odekunle, the intensive training marks another milestone in the centre’s growing profile of productive engagements and partnerships aimed at fostering capacity development for industry needs and national development.
The Association and Chamber Excellence (ACE) Program is a certification and professional development initiative specially designed to build, strengthen and consolidate the capacity of leaders in Chambers of Commerce, members of the business community and professional associations, starting from Nigeria and expanding across West Africa.

The ACE Programme aims to professionalize the field of association and chamber management, strengthen institutional capacity, elevate the credibility of members of the Business community and cultivate a new generation of private sector leaders who can advance Nigeria’s economic transformation and regional trade integration. When fully operational, the programme will provide practical trainings, mentorship and certification in key areas such as governance, financial sustainability, policy engagement, and member service delivery.

Upon completion of the 5-day Train-the-Trainer ACE Programme, participants will be engaged as facilitators alongside CIPE experts to deliver the ACE certification objectives.
