UNILAG IADS Hosts 2026 Malaria Day Seminar, April 22

The Gender, Culture and Identity Research Cluster of the Institute of African and Diaspora Studies, University of Lagos (IADS, UNILAG) will host a one-day seminar in commemoration of the 2026 Malaria Day as follows:

Date: Wednesday, April 22, 2026
Time: 10 a.m.
Venue: IADS Gallery, J.P. Clark Building, University of Lagos
Theme: “The Place of Traditional Medicine in the Fight Against Malaria

The seminar will focus on the current state of malaria prevention in Nigeria, with particular emphasis on the role of indigenous knowledge systems in combating the disease.

Members of the University Community and general public are cordially invited.
