Keynote speakers for the 5th edition of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) International Week have been unveiled as follows:

- Yvonne Ike (Managing Director & Head of Sub-Saharan Africa, Bank of America)
- Emmanuel Lubanzadio (Africa Lead at Open AI)
- Professor Diana Mitlin (African Cities Research Consortium, University of Manchester, United Kingdom)
This year’s International Week, with the theme: Equitable Partnerships and the Future of AI in Africa, is scheduled for Monday, October 13 to Friday, October 17, 2025. It reflects the University’s commitment to fostering balanced global collaborations while exploring the transformative potential of artificial intelligence in shaping Africa’s future.
The event, a flagship platform for dialogue, networking and strategic engagement with academic institutions, industry partners, policymakers and wider public, will feature keynote lectures, panel discussion, exhibitions, cultural showcases and interactive workshops.
