UNILAG-OCDS & Big Girls Foundation Host Capacity-Building Programme for Female Education Students, July 23

The Office of Career Development Services, University of Lagos (UNILAG-OCDS), in partnership with Big Girls Foundation, will host a free capacity-building programme for 300 and 400-level female students of the Faculty of Education, UNILAG as follows:

  • Date: Thursday, July 23, 2026
  • Time: 9:00 a.m.
  • Venue: Jelili Adebisi Omotola (Multipurpose) Hall, UNILAG

The one-day programme is designed to equip the next generation of female educators with the tools and confidence to thrive in today’s evolving education landscape. Participants will gain essential digital and pedagogical skills through the following key components:

  • 21st-Century Classroom Design training,
  • A TechnoServe-validated Classroom Readiness Assessment, and
  • Sessions on enhanced employability, psychological and cognitive awareness, and digital literacy
