TEAM GUARDIAN, the pride of Nigeria is on the global stage — and they need YOU to bring home the win!
Five brilliant undergraduate students, from the Faculties of Engineering and Science respectively, are representing the University of Lagos – and Nigeria – at the prestigious RICE360 Global Health Technologies Design Competition taking place at Houston Texas, USA.
They are: Joy Okoi, Emmanuel Awolowo, Orobosa Isokpunwu, Bright Chan and Shallom Adebayo
Their innovation?
The AM Detector – a portable, non-invasive diagnostic device that detects amniotic fluid leakage and distinguishes it from other vaginal discharges. That is a life-saving solution, proudly Made-in-UNILAG!
Out of numerous global contenders, our Team Guardian has soared into the Semi-Finals as Nigeria’s only representative — but they need our collective voice to push them into the Finals!
We are currently in 3rd place with 10,000 votes, and the deadline for voting is Friday, 11th of April.
