Students of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) are invited to enrol in a tuition-free 3D Animation and Post-Production Training powered by the Youth in Animations and Post Production Initiative (YAPPI).

This is an opportunity for you to explore your creativity and gain highly coveted and competitive skills in 3D Animation and Post-Production this April!

YAPPI is a fully-funded program developed by Del-York Creative Academy in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation. The Initiative is equipping sixty thousand (60,000) Nigerian youths with world-class skills in 3D Animation and post-production over the next five years.

There is a special focus placed on supporting the learning access of women and Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) who search for knowledge and have unique stories to tell. YAPPI aims to help them reach their full potentials through training and providing access to local and global job opportunities, as well as entrepreneurial pathways.

The program is structured into two phases:

• Online Phase (2 months): Introductory to intermediate-level training in animation and post-production, including career mentorship to prepare learners for global industry participation or enterprise development.
• Onsite Phase (4 months – Optional): A more advanced, hands-on training bootcamp for those seeking mastery in 3D Animation and related fields.

Each phase comes with a recognised certification and access to YAPPI’s Creative Talent-Job Platform (YAPPI Enterprise), an exclusive marketplace connecting animators with job opportunities, projects, and gigs.
