The Nigerian Tertiary Education Ranking Advisory Committee (NiTERAC) has been mandated, among other responsibilities, to conduct and publish the annual ranking of Nigerian tertiary institutions.
In line with this mandate, academic staff of all Nigerian universities are required to provide information on their Google Scholar profiles for the ranking exercise.
The earlier form designed for data collection encountered some technical hitches, necessitating a temporary halt of the exercise. A new form has now been set up and is accessible at the top-right corner of the NiTERAC website: https://niterac.org/.
Consequently, all academic staff of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) are to complete the new form via https://niterac.org from Friday, October 9, 2026. The portal will close on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 12:00 noon.
Staff are kindly enjoined to comply promptly to ensure that the University is accurately represented in the ranking.
